Call rates are better with 3 PAYG
I have an orange virgin OVP but never use it as I can't see the point
apart from the fact it is pay what you use at the end of the month!
If you usage is more than £10  month you're better off on contract,
Anyway, can you sell these on? If so, what are they worth?

Its not so much for the cheap call rates I wanted it- Broke down few
weeks ago but annoyingly had no vodafone coverage on my main phone...
It'd be more for being able to use it on a backup phone with no need
to worry about topping-up, and being able to make as many calls as I
want and just get billed. I know you can pay by direct debit with
virgin mobile but their coverage is generally poor compared to
orange's around here.

You can change the name on the orange account and change the direct
debit etc from what i've read. No idea what they're worth though- i
cant find any to see what they're going for at the moment.

Apologies if this response is inappropriate for this group but I have a
couple that I no longer use. Put OVPVM in subject of any mail you may send
me.

I have an Orange phone on the Virgin OVP tariff which I leave in the glove
compartment of the car as a back-up/emergency.  The phone just as well be
there than sitting in a drawer as it costs nothing if it not used.  I'm
surprised Orange haven't tried to close accounts such as mine as it must
cost them more to send me an invoice than I've spent.

I also use it for buying two cinema tickets for the price of one for Orange
Wednesday.  In theory I suppose I'm in credit as I can save £5-£6 every time
I go to the cinema on a Wednesday.
