Printing FAXes from Orange Answer Fax

I have an Orange phone with answer FAX. I have a real FAX machine. I
also have a Lucent FAX modem with which I use the standard Windows
2000 FAX software.

I have no problem sending a FAX from the real FAX machine to the FAX
modem. I also have no problem in printing a FAX from Orange answer FAX
on the real FAX machine. But when I try to print from Orange Answer
FAX to the FAX modem it rarely works (thought it does sometimes).

Has anyone experienced problem with printing from Orange answer FAX to
a FAX modem or with printing from Orange answer FAX in general?

I've had no problems printing to a "real" fax machine, I've never tried a
modem, what exactly is the problem..? Is it the same modem that it
sometimes works on as it doesn't, or is it one specific modem that is the
problem..? I wonder if it's that the modem doesn't answer, perhaps it
needs auto-answer set on..? Is there an option for manual fax receive..?
Might be worth trying that..?

Just a thought or two..

There is no problem answering but it fails after about 60 seconds. I
wondered if perhaps Orange and/or the modem do not quite conform to G3
(but the real FAX is tolerant).
