hi folks,

i was told on here a while ago that the cable i needed for the t610 was
the same cable as for the t68, so i went on ebay and bought me a nice
new serial t68 data cable.  i couldnt get it to work so i went to the
esato fourms to see what the SE experts had to say, they say its the
wrong cable, are they right?

cheers

What's the model no. of ur cable?? If it's an SE original serial (DRS11) or
the new USB one (DCU10) then it is 100% compatible.

Can't speak for clone accessories though :)

yeah both of them.  my computer isn't recognising the cable as being
plugged into either of my com ports, but i heard this was a symptom of
it not being the right cable as it only shows up if it is connected to a
working device.

*Assuming you have a DRS11 - The serial cable with a pass-thru for the
charger* ??

Have you installed the MPM software on your CD?? and set it to monitor COM1?

You can plug the charger into the cable while it is connected?? (This makes
it a DRS11 as opposed to the older DRS10 which I don't think will work)

Is your handset in the phone list?
