Argos have a Sagem my220X with a virgin SIM. There's no branding on the box or on the phone. Is it likely to be locked - or is there any way I can find out? Have you actually bought the phone? The only way I know is to ask a friend/work collegue that has a phone that isn't Virgin (or 3) if you can borrow their SIM and try see if it works...
