Hi

I have two questions I hope someone can answer

1/ what is the difference between a 7130g and a 7130V

2/Can anyone offer any advise on how I can get it unlocked from Vodafone so
I can use it with an Orange sim.  I have had no luck at all with any unlock
shop I have been in, they all either tell me it cannot be done or they are
waiting for some software.  Any one else had this problem

Cheers for any help

Telephone Vodafone and pay them for the unlocking code.

Be aware though, unless you have a device which is capable of supporting
BIS on your Orange account, you will not be able to get the BIS
activated, making your blackberry no different to a "normal" phone for
email.

The -V is a Vodafone-specific model, most likely locked to their
network. Vodafone were giving them away for free because they had half
a warehouse of them that nobody wanted. Theoretically they will unlock
it for free if it's registered on a corporate tariff, but otherwise you
may be out of luck.

The 7130 is a pretty ugly device; something of a brick by modern
standards, and ergonomically a disaster. There are much better handsets
around. I'd avoid it if I were you.
