Siemens A55 factory phonecode required

I swapped my nokia with my pal but I need the factory default phonecode so I
can change the screensaver settings. My mate didnt change the code so its
still the factorys default code as he got the phone new from a store. Its
the siemens A55.
Any help is appreciated

i dont think you need one - i bought one brand new from orange this week and
didnt need any code for screensavers or anything else.

Thanks for you replies, My mate hasnt got the literature which was supplied
with the A55 anymore and he was too dim to check the phonecode before he
threw the paperwork away. Hence I dont know the phonecode.

After enabling the screensaver password the phonecode is required to disable
the screensaver password feature. The screensaver is disabled so my phone
works ok but I cant use the screensaver because I dont have a phonecode to
stop the screensaver once it has run.
Any help is appreciated

If the phonecode system is the same as earlier models there is no
default phonecode.

The owner sets the code the first time it is used.

Siemens can issue a reset code if you prove it is your phone. The
reset code is different for each phone.
