Is it for real? Can it be done? And could I do it on a T610.
Also, once uked would it matter that the orange T610 still hasustomised
software on even though I use it on Vodafone?

Orange were selling the T610's for £150 on payg from their website directly
(www.orange.co.uk), not sure if they've got stock, they did on Monday.
As for the unlocking, that particular service won't work for SonyEricsson
phones. Have a look at www.dvds2000.co.uk. Unlocking the phone won't get rid
of the customisation, that's seperate, but details of getting rid of it are
on the above website.

Yes, many people offer a remote unlocking service.
> Can it be done?
Very easily.
> And could I do it on a T610.
At present, no (and the website you quoted only offers it for DCT4 Nokia's
and certain LG models) - but there will be a true remote unlock solution,
just not quite sure how soon.

Depends if you can live with the customisation - it's not as bad a job as
Voda made of the Live! handsets, but it's bodged enough. To get rid of it,
you'll need to get the phone re-flashed and GDFS reset. You'll have to get
it done outside official channels though. Ourselves and many others offer
de-customisation services.
