I am thinking of purchasing the OVP O2 100 contract with Orange. This is the
£25 per month rental + a free T610.
Could anyone advise whether I am doing the right thing in going for this
contract?
Your thoughts and comments would be most welcome
TIA

Why OVP O2 100 and not YP120 ?

I found this OVP O2 100 deal online. I was under the impression that YP120
didn't offer free texting which is what i tend to do the most.

2000 free text for 6 months on YP120 and up if registered before 31st dec.
Unlimited weekends instead after 31st dec

Try your local Orange shop, they may be able to do you a T610 on YP120 +2000
text

They'll probably insist you can now only have the unlimited weekends,
as they've been told that the change to unlimited weekends came in boxing day.
Humour them and take up 2000 for 6 months with the exec office.

OVP O2 200 could be worth considering changing to in 6 months

If the Orange shop wants more than free on YP120 ?
Point out that's what mobileshop are doing them for.

Also if you can grab an Orange Recommend a Friend voucher off someone
to use in the Orange shop before the 31st, you'll get 50quid credited
(They might have one in the shop?)

Promo 1, with the 50 quid credit for new customer, plus 50 quid trade-in
for old handset, ends today, 30 Dec 2003.

Anyone in South London want a couple of vouchers? ;-)

The new promo gives the new customer 25 quid credit plus The Orange Shop
still do a 30 quid trade-in for old handset.

Are you saying there's a new 25quid Voucher, or the old one just gives 25quid
from now on ?

There's a new voucher - it's a reversal of the old offer - the existing
customer gets £50 I believe and the new customer gets £25.
