If there really isn't an option to tell you your own number anywhere then for an O2 PAYG SIM you can dial the top up line on 4444 for free and sit through the message about 3p texts. Or even just buy a good old fashioned top up voucher as they are presumably still available? I can't see why one would need a phone number for either but certainly with the swipe card you can't lose out as it wont cost you anything to know if you can register it. Back to the phone itself. Does the phone's communications log include your sender number in its information? Once registered (as long as the previous owner hasn't registered 5 cards already), it will read out your phone number. Tariq |
