Wrong group, you want uk.adverts.telecom.mobile.

He's trying to sell P900's, minimum order 250. I had to sell my family into

Can't he make his mind up with his email address? He posted this to
alt.cellular.ericsson yesterday. In between he's been promoted to
MD, nice!

Yup, and still posting through google using a Hotmail address.  Smells as
fishy as a very fishy smelling thing to me.

The reason I have been posting using my Hotmail Account and through Google
Groups is that I am not always in the office and am out and about a lot.

When I am in the office, I can use my proper e-mail and news servers.

I am not trying to spam or scam anyone, I am just trying to offer the
opportunity to supply these hard to get phones in bulk to people wanting to
make a lot of money.

But, hey, if you are not interested, don't reply.

Yeah, ok, if you say so.

> When I am in the office, I can use my proper e-mail and news servers.

You may want to consider getting a "proper" website put up as well then.

> I am not trying to spam

You most definately are by posting a blatant advert in a non-adverts group.

> or scam anyone, I am just trying to offer the

That's mighty generous of you, it's not often you see that level of
generosity today.  Personally I don't believe you, but I'm sure that people
will make their own minds up in that respect.

> But, hey, if you are not interested, don't reply.

If you don't want comment on your spamming, don't do it in the first place!

Time-watsers like you you mean, posting your blatant adverts to a non-
advert newsgroup?

That was rather silly. You're new to this internet lark aren't you?

For your information I am NOT New to the Internet, I have been in the IT
Industry for over 13 Years.

As for being silly about puting my e-mail address up, yeah, so what, news
crawlers will probably extract the address out and then send spam e-mails to
me.........Ever heard of the delete key.........Usually found at the top
right of a keyboard. (or are you new to computers)

As for posting an advert on a non-advert newsgroup, correct me if I am
wrong.....I am selling in the UK and it is a TELECOM MOBILE........oh
look.....uk.telecom.mobile.......makes sense to me.

I appologise for sending it here if it is not meant for adverts....There was
nothing saying that you couldn't put up an advert here......AND if you are
not interested in the business opportunity, then don't bother
replying.......It's not Rocket Science !!!

Nuff Said !

Your choice of course, I prefer not to receive it in the first place.

No.

Which you are.

So should uk.adverts.telecom.mobile

Ok, I accept that.

The FAQ is quite clear on adverts. It's posted every week. Perhaps you
didn't bother to look for it?

Here you go........Bottom Posting for you !! ;-)

As for "The FAQ is quite clear on adverts. It's posted every week. Perhaps
you didn't bother to look for it?".............I have looked and can't see
it.

Now, as I only posted here 2 days ago.........if there had been a FAQ, it
should still be here just now.....either that or there isn't one.

As everyone else in the world......I HATE SPAMMERS......so would not do it
myself.

Anyway, aint got time to play stupid games.  We could go on and on and on
and on, back and forth all day and all night long and we will not agree.

So, parting words...........AS ALREADY STATED "I appologise for sending it
here if it is not meant for adverts"........I will not post here for adverts
again.

I bid you farewell !!!!!!!  ;-)

Bit of trimming wouldn't go amiss :)

Or your news server is crap?

Well you have! But you've said sorry and I do believe you! A real
spammer would not bother to enter into a discussion about it!

I think we are agreed now.

50% of the way there. You just need to learn trimming to context now.

So why did you, then?

There is no getting away from the fact that you posted an advert in a
no-ads newsgroup, and that is spamming. You are a spammer.

"Appologise"? Seems to me that you wrote some sort of wriggle
suggesting that there is no FAQ (one is posted every Wednesday) and
you said that you hate spammers, but that didn't stop you spamming.

If every time some spammer posted his crap here, and got away with it
by including "sorry if this isn't allowed in this newsgroup" there
would be no newsgroup at all: the messages would be lost in the spam.

For your future reference, if you go to
http://www.usenet.org.uk/hierarchy.html you'll find the Charters for
every UK newsgroup that has one.  The Charters usually make it
abundantly clear whether or not advertising is permitted.  As a general
rule, you should assume that any UK group outside the uk.adverts.*
hierarchy does NOT permit advertising.

If you're still unsure, look through recent (1-2 weeks') postings in the
group and see if there are any adverts, and (if so) what reactions they
got.  If all else fails, post a brief question, asking if adverts are
permitted, and don't be tempted to seize on the answers of one or two
contrarians who say yes, when tens or more say no.

As someone who's "been in the IT Industry for over 13 Years", and is
"NOT New to the Internet", I'm surprised you hadn't known that by now.
