Had the phone 6 months. Noticed yesterday that you now need to push the
joystick in with more force than before to 'select' (thought at first
it'd stopped working altogether!). Anyone else noticed this?

mine is doin exact same. thought my phone had crashed until i nearly snapped
the joystick and it worked. think it may be dust inside as my screen is full
of it thanks to the huge gap all round the joystick

Yep - I've had mine for about a year and its definitely doing that,
more so on the up/down than on the left/right.

Yep, mines doing the same... and it's in most directions that I've noticed
it. It's a real pain in the a.s when texting and you're trying to move
between characters!

I think it's a build up of crap and dust on the contacts inside the phone!
As someone else mentioned, the big gap around the joystick lets all sorts
in! Which to me is a bad design fault, they should have tried some kind of
sealed unit... my 7650 never had this problem!
