i bought a V3c from a friend and i use verizon pre-paid, how do i set
up my v3 for use?

You'll definitely want to remove the nasty chemicals from the circuit boards
that are left over from the manufacturing process. Most of the  phone
manufacturers don't do a good enough job these days, especially if you have
any kind of allergies. The Verizon service techs recommend that you soak the
phone in warm water for about a half hour before using it. Let it dry out
overnight and you're good to go.

Log into your account online. You should then be able to change your phone
options. Make sure you have the ESN: of the phone you intend to use. If you
call Verizon to do it you will be charged a fee.

You're entitled to your opinion I suppose but in sharp contrast to yourself,
