Definite scam artists. I religiously marked my calendar for appropriate
date of submission and mailing. I collected all documents for
submission and after 2 months and 5 e-mails they told me I am not
eligible to receive my rebate.
After which I wrote to them that the rebate was a part of contract
therefore I am free to cancel Verizon contract at will with no penalty.
They immediately wrote to me that they approve my rebate as a one time
courtesy.

I've gotta agree...I did exactly what the terms of the rebates called
for, and I've even gotten the notification that my rebate is approved,
or whatever the language they used was. But it was six months before I
could submit, and now it's been about five months since I did, and I
have yet to see my rebate checks. I should start pestering them, I
guess, but I'm inclined to accept it as a writeoff. At least I'm
satisfied with my phone & service package.

I'm happy that I can post and say that surprise, surprise! My $200
worth of rebate checks showed up today, without me taking any extra
effort. Only took close to 11 months from time of purchase, but what
the heck, better late than never.
