So my v710 is having problems charging the battery. When i plug my
phone in, after 3-6 seconds it says "cannot charge". i have tested this
with 2 different chargers, when i remove the battery and power on phone
it has quick glitches and powers off/on very quickly. my guess would be
the power contacts on the phone are damaged or dirty? what are my
options?
thanks

The V710 is notoriously bad for faulty/dirty contacts.  My 710 had
bent contact points in the power plug.  Take a very close look at both
the connection point on the phone *and* the male end of the charger
cord.  You'll probably see at least one of them with a crossed or
dirty pin.
