After 8 months of a dealing with a POS T720 Verizon has finally agreed to
let me trade phones (of course as it is now I have to sign another year
extension to my agreement, criminal).  I do not want to make the same
mistake again and my track record with picking out phones is highly
suspect, hey I thought the T720 would be a great phone!

Anyway, I have heard good things about the LG phones and both the Vx6000
and Vx4400 look like they would be pretty good.  I am just looking for
opinions on either phone (or others I should consider?).

BTW, are both of these phone digital only?

Thanks

My wife has the VX4400 and she likes it alot. I will be upgrading to the
VX6000 when I can. I've played with it a bit and its really easy to use.
Nice functionality on both phones.

I did a similar swap, my T720 for a vx-4400.  I like the LG a lot.  The
vx6000 is a digital-only unit while the vx4400 is tri-mode just like the
T720.  I've had the LG for several weeks.  Battery life is good, volume is
wonderful, and I can hear it ring!  I am occasionally in analog-only areas,
I didn't want to risk the dig-only unit right now.

I hope this helps.

VX 4400 is digi and analog (although I have yet to see mine go into analog)
and VX 6000 is digi only. I really like my 4400.

I too like the 4400 and it holds a signal a little better
than my old StarTac 7868 - which was quite a good phone.

Mine did go into analog once in CA right at the ocean - it
wasn't great reception, but it was good enough for me to
pick up voicemail and return a call.
