I felt a little like the commercial this summer, as I traveled extensively
throughout the southwest, the west coast, into Montana, Canada, and then
Upper Michigan. After having read so many posts about the t720 and service
problems and being from the East Coast, I was more than a little
apprehensive about America's Choice.  However, I must say that I was
pleasantly surprised.  Sure, I didn't have service in Big Sur or in the
remote areas of Idaho, etc., but in general, I could make phone calls and
access data just about anywhere I went. The only roaming charges I incurred
were in Canada.   The maps were, in general, accurate and the signal was
usually strong and relatively clear.

Coverage has little to do with the phone. The T720 does suck from most
of the accounts I've read, but with a decent phone you should be fine.
