I had this phone for my trial and took it back for this reason. I work
in a very noisy environment. Otherwise it was a great phone. CS could not
help me with this.

You think that the LG 4400 has quiet ring tones, try the Samsung SCH-A310.
I have to keep mine on vibrate so as not to miss calls.

This is not what you want to hear...
I work in a very noisy environment. I had the Audiovox 9500. I missed so
many calls as the ringtone was not loud enough.
Phone was stolen and I wound up with the LG VX 4400. By contrast this
ringtone is so loud I have not missed one call yet.
Sorry.

I have the LG 6000 and found it to have the loudest ring
tones of any phone and I spent a lot of time checking them
all. Love it. It is about the only phone I can hear when I
am 20 feet away from it. Also when the cable comes out I
will be playing with ring tones to get one I really like.
