Just a note to all LG 6000 users. I have one and love it,
but dont drop it. I dropped mine about 3 feet this AM and it
messed up the display real bad. Didnt think they were quite
that touchy. Also it was in the leather case. I had
insurance so will get a new one. More fun.

I just got two yesterday, and coming from the stellar Sanyo 6000 (magnesium
alloy face plate) I agree they are not as sturdy. But otherwise everything
else about this phone is high quality, its software, its form factor is even
nice for being a flip phone which i personally usually don't like.

thanks for the warning though.

Guess maybe you've just had bad luck. I've dropped my VX
6000 on a few occasions, including in a parking lot. I have a few small
scratches, but my phone is still working well.

That's the reason why I got the Verizon leather case that fits my
VX4400 nicely.
