V3m Razor & Motorola Phone Tools

I have Motorola Phone Tools v4.04. I just set it up with my Razor v3m.
During the setup process it was not able to determine my phone type.  (it
did, however, install a working modem driver). So I had to setup the phone
manually. I had to tell it a CDMA type of phone and then it wanted to know
the model. Surprisingly, the v3m was not in the list. So I selected a v3cm
since it seemed to be the closest model to mine. I ran the phone tools
update check and it told me I had the latest version available. Did others
with a v3m model phone have a similar issue w/the Phone Tools? If so, is
there a better model to select? I'm not certain if not having the proper
model selected or not is the cause of this next issue but I am suspecting it
is. When I load Phone Tools I cannot browse my phone's folders. I also
cannot save files to the phone using the software. I just get an error
stating that it cannot communicate with the phone. I know the proper driver
is installed because I can use the phone to access the Internet and the
software has no trouble talking to the phone otherwise.

Any help appreciated.
