How do they make any money? The last 4 times I moved they don't service that area. Not available at this zip code, etc, etc. They are all around here but not my zip codes? Unicel is here, US cellular is here, T-mobile is here, Sprint is here, At&t is here and others. What's up with Verizon?  SignatureSnap Hey, I eat my vegetables. Potatoes are vegetables arent' they? There are certain areas that each carrier doesn't serve. They're not in a couple states in the Southwest (Arkansas and Oklahoma) and they have pockets of no coverage in smaller rural areas. They're in all of the larger cities. They're in all of the larger cities. Actually their phone works in the areas they don't serve. I'm thinking it's a territory agreement with other providers. I know before I moved to my current area my phone worked fine from where I bought the plan. But you can't buy it here yet it works just fine. It was a good excuse to cancel the contract though. The point was, it's pointless complaining about carriers not having true nationwide native coverage because no US carrier *does.* You'll be roaming in certain parts of the country no matter who you choose. Where you roam varies by carrier. Verizon Wireless now has coverage in Tulsa Oklahoma. With expanding coverage to Northwest Arkansas, in the last quarter of 2007.
