you were trying to hide...)

Could it be that Verizon noticed the NUMBER ONE SELLING
"NOTEBOOK" on Amazon on Black Friday was not a "notebook" at
all...but the NOKIA N800 Linux-based internet tablet?!  The new
Nokia N810, just announced, that has a slide-out keyboard, was
NUMBER 3!

I was astonished to see it.  This is a new era in NON-SELLULAR-
CONTROLLED handheld devices that use wifi FIRST, and Sellular
SECOND....totally without sellphone company tampering and
shenanigans.

I don't need a slideout thumb keyboard.  Today, UPS brought me
the Nokia SU-8W Bluetooth folding keyboard, which, when folded up
is the same size as my N800 tablet.  BOTH of them fit very nicely
into a Game Spot Sony PSP "Travel Case", BB-6014 UPC 708056-
612276.  $9.99 at Game Spot video game stores or Babbage's in the
malls.  Fits perfect after you remove the useless game storage
flap and velcro pad inside it.

The case on Gamestop's webpage is different than this UPC case.
This case has a Gamestop wrist strap permanently attached to one
of the two zippers around the case and a Gamestop fob on the
other zipper.

Isn't it ironic that the same ISPs that are telling you
you're downloads threaten their networks......
....are testing 100Gbps TV to sell on the SAME systems?

So, now you're up to four gizmos to carry: your N800, it's BT keyboard, a
BT GPS, and your cellphone.

At this point, you might have just carried a laptop with you!  ;-)

Wrong.  The GPS stays in the car.  I don't need it for lunch.
The keyboard and tablet stay in a Sony PSP travel case until I
use it.  I don't carry the tablet around all the time as there's
no need.  My tiny ROKR Z6M is the Sellphone/MP3/Still-movie
camera, not the tablet.  I lose it in my shirt pocket and can
hardly tell it's in there compared to the E815 I had.

I have a CHOICE whether to carry my tablet or not, depending on
what I'm going to do.  I don't need the tablet when shopping at
WalMart or working.  So, it stays in the car.  I don't need the
GPS unless moving.  It stays in the glovebox watching the birds
through the plastic dash and windshield.  When the tablet
disconnects, it sleeps and I rigged permanent power to it inside
the glovebox.  I never turn it off or touch it, unless someone
wants to see it.

I can see where carrying a fragile touchscreen device is going to
be a real PITA for anyone who has to work.  What do you do with
it while crawling around at work?  If you leave it in your pocket
it's sure to be destroyed.  I'd MUCH rather put the tablet safely
away in the PSP travel case with its keyboard and leave them in
the glovebox unless I have time to play.

Doesn't that make better sense?  It'll surely last longer....

I'm afraid it might be a devil's gift ---- give a dollar with one hand
and take two with the other.
