It is the Verizon CDMA answer to new the AT&T GSM phones. If you looked at the video carefully you would have picked up on that towards the end. I am not sure why they didn't call it the Voyager II instead of turbo 3000.

It seems like a good phone for you for that feature.

DTC - 30 Dec 2007 20:20 GMT > Sure glad I'm not an antenna chewer like some of the kids in the mall.... Five years ago one of the five dogs grabbed my partner's grabbed his Blackberry leather case off the patio table.
A year later I was on the road and messaged him and when I got home, he said "That was the last message that BB will ever get.." He heard beeping...FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE BACK YARD. LCD screen was crushed and keyboard disemboweled.
In the past two months, the newest dog in the family has taken out two wireless mouses, and the antennas of both our cell phones.
And numerous ends of CAT5 and USB cables.

Try a dab of Tabasco sauce on things you don't want the dog to put in his mouth! It's a tough way to learn but some dogs will learn in no other way.

Works fine w/dogs, but NOT parrots. Have you ever held one of those fresh hot peppers Asians use to make food eat through Asbestos?
Both my big parrots love them. The can eat peppers so hot it burns your skin, without any ill effects,, at all.

Do your parrots eat cell phones?

Let a bird from the parrot family hear the same sound regularly, over and over, and they'll repeat it no matter what it is. Our male cockatiel used to wake us up by imitating the alarm clock. :)

Larry - 31 Dec 2007 06:02 GMT > cockatiel Finest parrot anyone can own. They just don't live long enough to avoid the sadness. I had one that whistled half of "Dixie", our national anthem.
Cockatiels are little cockatoos and just absorb human love....like cockatoos.
Drop by a pet shop and see what they want, NOW, for a cockateil! A little cockateil! Your Verizon buyout fee is less!...

George - 31 Dec 2007 18:56 GMT >> Do your parrots eat cell phones? > > Parrot Mimics Ringtone to Torture His Owner > http://tinyurl.com/2fbf55 Sounds fair to me after being tortured by obnoxious ring tones.
Larry - 31 Dec 2007 05:57 GMT > Do your parrots eat cell phones? No, because they never get the chance, not that they wouldn't. They are WAY too expensive to poison with electronics parts swallowed. One of them had surgery to remove a metal bell clapper he managed to wrench out of a parrot bell many years back. I don't wanna go through that again.... My vet put me to work holding the gas over his beak...while they took the Xrays. There it was...inside him. The vet got it out...AFTER I LEFT.
They are NEVER left loose in the house, unsupervised. They'd reduce this place to sawdust and gypsum in an hour...(c;
My big macaw (blue and gold) always greets new people with:
"OH OH.....NOW WHAT??!", as the unsuspecting new victim stares through the bars at him. Living with poultry is like living with 2-year olds that NEVER grow up the rest of your life. It's a riot!...sometimes frustrating.
If you yell at them "Quiet, damned birds!", when they're in screaming mode, that just means you're going to hear that echoed at you for hours, in with the blood curdling macaw calls. He just adds it to the database for re-encoding on demand. My Yellow Nape Amazon can make every electronic noise he's ever heard, especially RINGTONES, which he loves!
When my stepdaughter, a dizzy blonde for sure, lived at home, she would be standing RIGHT NEXT to a telephone that DIDN'T ring under her hand, but hear a "telephone ringer" from the bird room and, like Pavlov's Dog, answer the non-ringing phone.....EVERY TIME. I tried not to laugh...really...but, you just can't hold it without exploding!

Signature Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Government officials and activists flying to Bali, Indonesia, for the United Nations meeting on climate change will cause as much pollution as 20,000 cars in a year.
Larry - 31 Dec 2007 06:07 GMT > Check the pet stores. There's aversion stuff. Bitter apple IIRC. Better stuff is "Dog Away". We used to sell it by the case in our petshop. They don't taste it, because they can't stand to go near it. Spray it on a bush and they'll all stop pissing on it! As soon as they get a whif, which you can't smell, they rush away.

Use them very lightly indoors or you dog won't come into the house, at all!

Bitter apple - she thinks it taste like candy.

I have two large parrots whos beaks can melt through a Brazil nut you can hardly crack like a knife thru warm butter. They can reduce a 2X4 to chips in minutes without interrupting their chatter.
They are NEVER allowed anywhere near anything less resilient than a blacksmith's anvil, even then watched carefully.
The think plastic is funny!
