PDA phones are not capable accessing VZW's "Mobile Web 2.0". VZW's Mobile
Web is a web Proxy that only allows viewing of sites specifically designed
as "mobile" sites (i.e. small screen format, etc.).
PDA phones access the "full Internet" as you call it. Their data plans are
more expensive for this reason (according to VZW - I'm just the messenger).
Bottom line, if you want data with a PDA you gotta pay more than a regular
phone...

Here is a mobile web site. You can access it with your regular web
browser:
http://wap.oa.yahoo.com

Frank is right. However,, for people with non-PDA phones, if they are Web
capable, you don't need to pay Vzw the $5/mo they require for web access.
I've been using Hopke.net as my web proxy rather than Vzw. I have to buy
access for a year but they charge $18 for a year of service, which comes out
to $1.50 per month. Vzw charges you to use their web proxy/homepage. There
are other options besides using Vzw on your phone, they are legal and
cheaper than Vzw.

The North American Union and SPP are just convenient retreats for the same
crooks and kooks that were telling you to panic about Y2K.
