It's typically called a "recent calls" list.  It is phone specific.

Try this....

Open your phone.
Press the "Send" or "Call" button (green?) briefly.
A list of your recent calls should come up. The last call (in OR out) should
be on top of the list.
Press "Send" again.

This should work for most phones with the Verizon interface.

What does it do when you press... 88

Zak,

You'd have to be a little more specific...

...Pressing 88 would show "88"
...In text mode, if pressed quickly, the letter "U"....

Don't know if you mean "88" then "SEND" - does nothing AFAIK.
