In the last 2-3 days I am suddenly unable to access a web site on my Verizon
LG VX6100. The web site is www.skweezer.net. I am unable to login or
access my bookmarks and each time I try to click on them, as I have been
doing for 3 years, I immediately get an error message on phone that
"connection to server is lost." I can access all other web sites on my
phone as before.
This trouble happened at the same time I reset my phone using *228, option
1. I don't know if that can possibly have an effect on the problem I
describe above or not.
I can use the web site just like there is no problem on any computer, so I
don't fault the web site necessarily.
Can anyone with a verixon phone using BREW access to the web on their phone
please try to access the Skweezer web site and access bookmarks or login so
I can tell if the problem is generic to Verizon, maybe a malformed link from
the site, or possible Verizon is crippling access, which I doubt.
Alternately, can anyone recommed a web site for web acess on small screens
that strips the images AND had online bookmarks. I've found wap.google.com,
mowser, www.baresite.com but they don't seem to have both transcoding for
WAP and bookmarks.
Thanks

If you want "web access on small screens that strips the images" see:
http://www.google.com/gwt/n
As for the "bookmarks" bit. You can always do what I do about bookmarks.
Either keep them on the phone itself or keep a seperate page on the internet
just for certain bookmarks like the following:
AccuWeather Forcast
http://wap.wirelessaccuweather.com
AOL.com and it also contains a link to wap.mapquest.com and other places
http://wap.aol.com
Ask Mobile Search
http://m.ask.com
CNN for Mobile
http://m.cnn.com
Dictionary.com for Mobile
http://m.reference.com/d
DSL Reports for testing speed of Mobile phones
http://dslreports.com/mspeed
Google for Mobile
http://google.com/m
Google Maps for Mobile
http://google.com/gmm
Note: there are several forms of Google for Mobile that all go to the same
place and you have already mentioned one of them.
