Log on to http://www.verizonwireless.com and turn off TXT messaging
that originates from the Internet.
You'll still be able to send/receive TXT messages from a cell phone,
just not via the web; which is where the overwhelming majority of cell
phone SPAM originates.

I followed this advice (maybe you gave it to me, Agent) a few months ago,
and it stopped the SPAM dead.
