What would you guys rate Verizon Wireless, 1-10.

Also could you order these from best to worst: Verizon, T-Mobile,
AT&T, Sprint, Alltel.

Thanks so much,

Jake

I'd disagree. If you're in an area where T-Mo has a good network, and there
are more such places than you might think, you're golden. Their customer
service is top-notch.

You'll recall that I left VZW in 2004 after they broke the part of their
wireless network right in front of their Victorville, CA retail store and
tried to pass it off as a problem with my phone. Repeatedly. Over the course
of more than six months.

Based on what?

For native coverage: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltel

For coverage with roaming: Verizon, Alltel & Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile

For customer service: T-Mobile, Alltel, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint

For best phone selection: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Alltel, Sprint

For peak minutes per dollar: T-Mobile, Sprint (SERO), Alltel, Verizon &
AT&T.

For 3G Data Coverage: Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Alltel, T-Mobile.

There are probably lots more criteria as well. Overall, Verizon is
consistently ranked as the best carrier in the U.S..
