Got my first AC Family Share plan bill and noticed the following:
MTM calls that are off-peak are being allocated to unlimited N&W minutes,
not the 250 MTM minutes provided to each of my two phones on the plan. This
is true for *both* the primary and the secondary phone.
How voicemail retrieval minutes are allocated depends on when the call is
made. During peak times, they come out of the shared allowance minutes
*even though the call is not made by dialing *86 but by dialing the cell
phone number*. Yes, it is considered an MTM call, but the minutes are
charged against the shared allowance bucket.
For example, if I called my own cell phone number to retrieve voicemail at
noon during the week, it shows up on the bill as an "RMA" call. R for
retrieval, M for mobile-to-mobile and A for price plan allowance. Doing the
math, the minutes are definitely in the Plan Allowance Minutes, not the
MTMs. This is also true for both the primary and secondary phones. Just a
heads up for those that believed (as I did) that voicemail retrieval came
under MTM minutes during peak times. That may be true in some markets, but
not in mine -- so check! I'm in Portland, Maine -- Northeast market.

I believe that you need to dial *86 to take advantage of MTM. If you dial
your own number it is charged as any other call would be.
