Updating PRL while away from home

I will not be at my home until November.  I live in New York, however I am
currently in Boston.  If I update my PRL by using *228, will it damage my
phone?  Also, if this helps, I am on the AC700 Digital plan.

From what I've read from others on this newsgroup, it no longer
matters where you do *228.
