Hello,
I am a free up customer and I had noticed a problem with my billing in
my night-time rate. I live in a part of the country that does *not*
move its clocks back and forth -- northern Indiana -- so, hence, I was
on Central time up until this past Sunday, and am now on Eastern time
through Spring.
My problem is that Verizon's system still has me logged in on Central
time, so my night time rate of 15 cents/minute doesn't go into effect
until 10pm my time when it is supposed to start at 9pm. The time on my
phone reflects the correct time.
I called Customer Care and the lady I spoke to issued a "Trouble
Ticket". Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening? Is
there any hope of a resolution?
Thanks,
Eric

Go by the time on the phone, correct or not. The system logs you in according to the tower you are in touch with not your home area.
Do you live in Starke County. From what I've read, individuals there can choose which zone they're in! Cellphones too!
