I have a Kyocera QCP2035a with data cable(serial) and mobile office
software. If I am able to get National Access MOU activated on my account(I
understand that part is a challenge!), will this equipment work? Or do I
have to upgrade phones? The phone is a couple of years old, but still serves
me well for voice.
BTW, I am in Coloumbus Ohio, on a National Single Rate 400 plan.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I didn't think the 2035 had 1x, and this would seem to verify that it
doesn't:

That phone will NOT do the 1x/high-speed/express/nationalaccess stuff. It
can only be used for qwk2net (low speed data) . There is absolutely no
reason to bother with the MOU unless you upgrade the phone first (I used to
have a Kyocera 2035a, now I have a Kyocera 2325, it was free a free upgrade
at verizon).

Thanks Peter Pan and Mike!
That is what I was afraid of. I think I am due for a "free" phone upgrade,
but don't have time to deal with choosing a new phone and making all the
changes right now. So will probably wait till after Jan 1, and get by with
Q2N for now.
