Hey Folks,

I just bought the datapilot SW and USB cable to connect my laptop to my
A310. USB drivers installed and the contact managment features are working
because I was able to pull my phone book out of the phone OK. Can't seem to
get the modem part working though, I don't see the modem in control panel.
And I'm not sure if the datapilot CD is supposed to install it or not. I
thought it would because the CD specifically says it's for the A310.

Any tips or links appreciated.

Web searches simply yeild 40 billon UK ringtone crap sites... What the heck
is all that about..

Regards,

Bill

Did you install the USB drivers separately FIRST or SECOND? Sounds like a
what happens if you install the SW and then the USB drivers. If it's
possible, try uninstalling them BOTH, and then reinstall them in a different
order (USB drivers first, and then the software).

I tried doing an unistall/reinstall, no luck on that either. It never
installs a modem. if I manually install a std 9600 baud modem I can get that
to work usinng winterm, but my ISP dialer bombs on some init string it sends
the modem.

Is there anywhere I can just down load
