My wife and I have a second house (they are called "camps" in New
York) in a rural location about 40 miles south of Syracuse.  We go
there occasionaly.  Sometimes, when we approach the "camp," I receive
a beep from my cell phone notifying me of a voice mail.  When I listen
to the message, sometimes it is 2-3 weeks old!  My phone has been
turned on all the time so the voice mail could have been delivered
previously.  Could someone explain how voice mail could go into limbo
like this?  BTW, the "camp" is in a different, but adjacent, Verizon
market region from our normal home.

Odd.  I thought VZW only held messages for up to 14 days.  I
frequently have them come in hours later, especially on Friday nights.

This happens all the time in the Hudson Valley!  Like 3-4 times a
week.  We've never been able to get a solution either.

This is off topic but somethings we never get the answer for like:

Maybe your messages bounced off a distant object , most likely they were not
deleted due to some computer error. I wonder if VM is cached or stored in
more than one location ?
