1. Try this... start your browser, go to your favorite mobile web site,
and do whatever it is you have to do on your phone to bookmark the site.
(On my 4400, I have to hold 0 to get the browser menu, then push 4 for
Mark Site.)

Does it work for you? It doesn't work for me, and it didn't work for the
VZW tech who I just spent an hour on the phone with. I just get an IIS
error message to the effect of "The page cannot be displayed because the
address is incorrect."

2. Now try this, if you have an MSN Messenger account with a .NET
Passport that is *not* a @hotmail.com or @msn.com email address. Use
that passport to log into mobile web on your phone (you'll have to
select the "other email") option, then try to log into MSN Messenger
from your phone.

Doesn't work for me either - even though I can use the same account with
MSN Messenger on my PC! I just get an error saying the feature I'm
trying to use is having a problem, please try again later. If I log in
with my hotmail address, then it works, but no one ever uses my hotmail
address, and I almost forgot I even had it.

Bookmarks have not worked since VZW hopped in bed with MSN. I recall back
when VZW operated their own MobileWeb portal ("MyVZW") and they worked
great. Bookmarks are stored on the network, not the phone (on VZW,
anyway... my PCS phone stores bookmarks on the handset) and my guess is
MSN simply doesn't support this.
