Now when I go into my account on VZW's website, it shows the v.60s as an
upgrade option when I click the "Upgrade Phone" option.  I wonder if I would
finally be able to order it through Customer service.  The price they are
showing on the website is not correct.  I am able to get promotional pricing
right now, but it's showing a full charge for the phone.  I want to get one
of these phones, but they seem to be hard to get a hold of.  I'm wondering
if it's really worth it now though.  My contract is up this June.  Maybe
should just sit back and see what comes out over the next few months.

I just now ordered a v60s for $49 with a 1 year extension from the
website. (Seattle area)

Wy are you able to get promotional pricing if your contract is not up
until June?

I got the V60s for my wife, the contract is up in April. Verizon will often
let you upgrade early, the contract just gets extended that much further. At
first they said that she couldn't get the V60s, but I was persistent, and
they relented.
