Are the phones on verizon's web site the only phones we can use on their
network?
What's the difference between the samsung a600 and samsung a610? Sprint
has the a600 for 150 more. (minus the rebate on the samsung a610)

Yes, unless you have an older Verizon Wireless phone that is either
trimode or dual digital.

No earthly idea, but I just got my a610 on Thursday, and it's an
extremely sweet piece of technology! The flash is different from any other
flash I've had on a camera, as it's just a normal light that grades up in
illumination just enough to show the object of the picture, then turns off
when the pic snaps. And I'm going to enjoy the heck out of the Voice Kit!!

There are a lot of CDMA phones you can use on Verizon. Too many to
list. Do you have one in mind?

Are you sure it's an a600? There is an i600 that's a PDA phone. I
think it runs the pocket version of Windows. The a610 is a camera
phone.

With the exception of the discontinued models, yes.

I believe you mean the SCH-i600 -versus- the SCH-a610.
The i600 is a computer phone. I was at a Verizon Wireless store in Manhattan
yesterday and the salesman had that phone. He showed me a movie he
downloaded on the phone. He was able to make the movie full screen or
widescreen.
The a610 is a really cool camera phone. It's a bit smaller than the i600,
but it does sport the wide body, offering you that sure grip and solid feel.
The buttons DO NOT feel like an afterthought, unlike other phones I care not
to mention.
With the optional extended battery, the a610 is a very serious champion.
Heck, even with the standard battery, I've experienced above average service
for a color phone.
One important thing to note here, you can swivel the top half, close it,
take a self portrait and see yourself completely on screen. Try that with
any other camera cell phone and you'll discover that's not possible.
Well, if you have any additional questions about the Samsung models, feel
free to ask or visit the Samsung website for further technical information.
Cheers!
