You can certainly conclude that there are no free ringtones that you
have found. That doesn't mean that there are no free ringtones that
someone else can find.
I had a hard time finding free ringtones for the VX4400. I eventually
found some through HowardForums, but the one I ended up using (a plain
ring) is my conversion of one of the Windows system WAV files, converted
with dbPowerAMP and installed with bitPim though the Mobile Office
cable. All that's free except for the cable (I think that the Windows
WAV is probably covered by fair use, since I have a Windows license).
You might want to look at "How to put mp3 rintones on your LG VX6000 for

Another thread, "*noob* how do i load ringtone to my phone"
<http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=326248>
says that you can send a ringtone to a VX6000 via email.
Somewhere on howardforums I found a pointer to a ZIP file containing a
bunch of free ringtones. There's a lot of information in there, but it
takes patience to find it.

In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted comfort and security.
And in the end, they lost it all - freedom, comfort and security.

1. Converted to what format?
2. What is dbPowerAMP, is it free, and where can I get it?
3. Bill's lawyers might disagree.

Hey everyone! Just found a new web site w/free ringtones and wallpapers.
http://www.mvp-hosting.net/cell/index.php
I have the lg vx6000 which is a camera phone and all i did was downloaded
the file to my computer and e-mailed it to my10digitphonenumber@vwzpix.com
and either saved the message on ur phone as a pix for a wallpaper and a
sound for a ringtone. Hope this helps and everyone can get them whether they
have a camera phone or not! :)
