I'm surfing for "free" right now on Verizon. Have my PDA (Palm
m-515) connected to an Audiovox CDM-9155 using Verizon's Quick2Net.
During nights and weekends I can surf all I want. During peak times
I burn up my peak minutes. Mind you, this is very slow (14.4k) but
it works great for me to quickly check e-mail or browse usenet. I
have also used the free WAP tunnel on the phone.
Have fun.

Slow, but 1000 times more reliable than packet radio! :)

Downloaded WAP gateway software from www.kannel.org and set up my
own...works great! Not that I plan on using it extensively...typing in
URLs with the number pad is a serious b*tch. Maybe the occasional stock
quote or hotmail check.
