Audiovox 9500 Holster Question

I must admit I really detest the belt clip/swivel design for the 9500. I
feel it's terribly insecure.

Left a bad taste in my mouth recently when the circular knob on the phone
came loose and I dropped my phone and lost it... Sadly it was never
returned.
And I was dumb enough not to carry loss insurance.... I learned my lesson on
that one.. A $300 lesson...

My buddy has an LG 4400... I like the belt clip design for that phone. It
snaps over the back of the entire phone witha long belt clip...  Holds it
firmly in place. I've tried it and it feels really snug... It's not going to
get knocked off easily.

My question is does anyone make a similar style for the 9500 and if so where
can I get one if such an item is available?

Thanks,

B

Do an "audiovox 9500" search on ebay - lots of accessaries.

I picked up a neoprene "pouch" where the 9500 slips into the top of
the pouch, and it's held shut by velcro.  You do have to take out the
phone to use it, but it's very secure.

Quick question. HOw do you like the 9500? Are the ring tones
loud or half quiet? thanks.

Ken....

The Audiovox 9500 to me is an awesome phone.

Here's why: It is the best phone I have ever personally owned as far as
recption is concerned.
everyone's mileage will vary here, but I live in a very tricky area at the
outskirts of my city and I have never dropped a call.
The 9500 is noted for very strong RF reception. There can be few better
phones than the 9500 in this area. I give a 10 out of 10 in this area.
And that's why I have a cell phone.... To make phone calls....

I also love the full featured phonebook which synchronizes beautifully with
my contacts in MS Outlook. Another real plus.
Phone graphics are excellent.

Downsides? A few... Primarily battery life... One can make all the excuses
they want, but if you make alot of calls you NEED to purchase an extended
battery and perhaps carry several...

Secondly, the ringer, for me is not loud enough. I work in very noisy
environment and miss calls because i can't hear the phone.. In anormal
environment this will not be a problem.

Phone is a little larger than the current generation of phones but it's not
really a big deal to me..
Great phone.....
