Is there a map of where analog only service is available.  I'm thinking of
upgrading to an LG VX6000 and I need to no where I won't have coverage.

They're never going to tell you that or admit they have coverage here
but not there or digital here but no digital there.  That's why you're
never going to see a REAL RF coverage map, which looks like little red
blobs of primary coverage around each cell surrounded by little yellow
blobs of marginal coverage around each cell with big gaps of no
coverage in between where the shitty little 200mw transmitters keying
into a bent pin antenna just aren't hot enough to "make the trip"
reliably.

What?  A corporation ADMITTING something's wrong?  You must be
KIDDING!!  There's class-action lawyers you know!!

Look on the "national freedom" coverage maps. Many of the areas that are
color-coded for "roaming" are analog. But no map is completely accurate.
You would not have coverage over a large chunk of eastern North Carolina,
east of I-95.

Prices are so low, you could do like many of us and carry more than one
phone.  (But don't get Larry started on this!)  If you have any doubts about
areas where you might need to communicate, have a phone with analog
capability. It's cheap insurance. Especially if it has a provision for
connecting an external antenna.

Look at the America's Choice map.. just about everywhere there is coverage
on AC there is analog. Except a few areas where it is just Sprint, in which
case.. look at a Sprint Nationwide map and you know what areas aren't
covered under AC with analog.
