Is there a way to turn off the images or themes or backgrounds whatever they
are called on this phone?  And just have a white background with Black text
that says Verizon Wireless and the date and time?

thanks

i posted a similar question, but didn't get a reply on how to turn off the
screen image. if you find out, please post the info!

however, until i figure out how to turn off images... i took a picture of a
white wall and am using that as a background/wallpaper.

check out http://www.bitpim.org/. i haven't checked it out yet, but will
when i get some time.

Not sure if it can be turned off. Suggestion would be to take a
picture of a white wall, sheet, or something else and use it.
