xman, if you could refrain from taking two every now
and again they would last until the end of the month...

I'm curious-- how is it that you're privy to the current and projected
figures from the maintenance and engineering budgets-- while the rest of us
only have access to our monthly bill?
You do have some data to back up your opinion that they are under-spending--
I mean, like you're not just blowing smoke out of your a.s are you?

Mike does nothing but.... ("blow smoke out of his a.s")
I have yet to see him say anything constructive, or positive.
Just one of those people who like to bitch... for bitching's sake.
Pay him NO attention, he has a screw (or two) loose.

I don't have to have any access to confidential data to back up what I say.
All you have to do is use your cell phone. More dropped calls, crappy
reception where it use to be good. More and more terrible phones coming out,
awful customer service, and probably a whole list of other things Verizon
can't do right. Not to mention not one credit or lower price for the
crappier service.

xman, that's because you keep supporting them with you
business. They're in it for the money. When they make
plenty (or more than the competition) there is no incentive
to get better. When they don't they try harder and maybe
invest more.
So it seems that *you* are solely responsible for this
miserable state of affairs. If you would quit re-upping
for VZW service and lining their pockets things could
get better. You even paid them a $175 termination
fee and then re-upped for service *again* after that.
They're simply rolling in dough now. Thanks a lot for
supporting VZW and putting all of us in this situation.

Termination fees were returned to me...for some reason they refunded me that
since it was a very short time I was away. Hell...the incompetence they
showed when trying to re-open my account to begin with was pathetic. They
couldn't do anything right and the whole process to get my account
straightened out with my original phone number took over 6 weeks. Why? I
dunno....go ask the idiots I talk to on the phone when I have to tell the
whole damn story again when I talk to some one new. What a system they have.
They really should use REMEDY, which would help in their times when some one
calls in with an on going problem. Here, look for yourself.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out customer service sucks and they need
to stream line things. I use remedy for other purposes, but it's a very good
application that can be used on their scale which would really make an
improvement with customer service. Although what does Verizon Wireless care
about that. They have your contract and a hefty termination fee helping them
out.
If you want me gone...then please...PLEASE I beg you send me a check for
$175 and I'll never post another message in this group or ever use VZW
again! Why not start an xman termination fund?
