The 7100 really doesn't do anything special that the 7700 series can't do
(with the exception of Bluetooth) but it is a totally different shape and
form factor. It is shaped like a phone and not like the old clunky
Blackberry that we all have grown to know. Additionally, from what I have
heard, the voice characteristics are much better on the new 7100 series.
What I am looking for is a new smaller Blackberry with Bluetooth
capabilities much like the 7100 series currently offered from T-Mobile and
Cingular. It truely is a great phone. I am hoping that this phone is on
the horizon for Verizon.

I also wanted a bb and have now had a T-mobile acct with data only
(cheapest BB data plan by far $29.95 unlimited data
). When my verizon phone plan ends, I am thinking of adding the phone
to my BB 6230. I also travel alot to metro areas and have been pleased
with the t-mobile coverage.
