I don't want to double post but I posted this question yesterday
and I haven't seen it come up yet, I figure sometging may have
gone wrong, I will try again.
I bought verizons mobile office kit with the softeare and cable
for my vx6100.  I am wondering if I should use it or maybe just
return it and get a cable online and use bitpim like I did for
my vx4400?  Verizon seems to have a rep here on the board for
crippling stuff in the hunt for profits.  I don't know what kind
of functionality comes with their software vs bitpim.  I did
plug in teh phone with their cable and ran bitpim, whick would
not access the phone properly.  Windows detected it and asked to
indstall softeare, I did not do so.  I did, however, install the
usb drivers from lg's web site.  
If you can offer any advice I woould appreciate it.  And, again,
I am sorry if this turns out to be a double post.  I use
giganews and don't remember ever losing a post before.
