i have a 1400 min/month family plan and pay the $5/month for the data plan
(i have a moto 815e).
when i use the net interface to check yahoo mail, a score, etc am i charged
minutes out of the 1400 or is it like a weekend call where it is unlimited?
also, how does aol IM work via the phone? if it's used during the weekday,
i assume it chews up minutes, but if it's unlimited (as postulated above),
it's a total freebie on the weekend? thanks

Mobile web for $5/mo uses only your minutes, which typically are free on the
weekends and after 9pm, depending on your plan.
Can't answer about AOL.

AOL IM uses text messages. Either they come out of whatever non-Verizon
text message bucket that you have, or you pay 10 cents per message both
incoming and outgoing.
