I just got my V276 to work with Q2N, but my friend can't seem to get his
E815 to work, so he went to the Verizon store & they loaded the latest
Motorola MPT on his laptop & tried for an hour or more to get it to work
with no success.  They  tried to just dial #777 from the phone not connected
to the computer & it would hang up after 9 sec.  They then tried to order a
new phone in case that was the problem but when they checked into it, they
told him that all of the new phones come with new software that doesn't
allow the phone to connect & you have to buy a plan for $60.00 a month.
They said they are trying to monitor the phones & charge people who do not
have the plan.

Any Ideas, or is this just a bunch of bull?
Thanks in advance,
Steve
