I got it for $59.99999999 plus a FREE Motorola 276 from Radio Shack.

So far so good (I don't know how to use the bells and whistles) but how
do I get the light on the inside screen and keypad to stay lit?

I have the same phone and love it. There is an option in MAIN DISPLAY
SETTINGS. It's called BACKLIGHT-TIMEOUT. Really can't get more evident then
that. You have a selection in there for ALWAYS. There ya go.

Also, does the phone have a heavy top flip? I mean if you are holding the
bottom portion and then flip your hand quickly towards yourself while
looking directly at the keys the top flip actually closes by itself some
times since there' not much of a spring on it. Do you have this issue. Right
now and I said RIGHT NOW it's not a problem.

I have tried over 4 bluetooth headsets and I'm unhappy with all of them. The
best one so far I like which I'm keeping is the Jabra JX10. It really is an
amazing headset.

ok, thanks for the feedback.

I don't have the problem right now but phonescoop says that it has a
weak hinge and I only have ten more days to return it.  I guess I can't
return it then. I had to replace the LG510 but now I find it
frustrating that with fancier phones, checking email is MORE
troublesome because of graphics and something about not a secure
something.  Mobile Web is so unsatisfying.

I believe some of the first 6255's that came out had trouble with the
backlight and hinge. I've had a few weeks now and no problems yet.  I'm
pretty good handling it too...so that really could be the problem.
