Hi. I have an HP iPAQ that uses WM2003 along with ActiveSync 3.7 and Outlook
2003. Everything synchs fine. I just ordered a UT Starcom XV6700 PDA/phone,
and was wondering what version(s) of Outlook and ActiveSync it'll work with.

I thought maybe z9before the XV6700 gets here) I could upgrade my ActiveSync
to 4.1 (since it's a free download)....then when the XV6700 gets here, just
plug it in and have it Sync to ActiveSync 4.1 (and Outlook 2003) with a new
partnership. I HATE most vendors' installation CDs, since they usually try
to install so much crap you don't need. So I'm just trying to see if I could
have a setup that's already compatible with the XV6700, without needing its
installation CD.

So I guess my question is really: will the XV6700 work with ActiveSync 4.1
and Outlook 2003? Thanks in advance.

Oops; I meant I have Outlook 2002, not 2003.
