But we all assumed that he simply called Leo's phone as shown. We don't know
if he called some other number which forwarded to Leo after doing some
"magic"

you can do it with a PBX system very easily, when I worked at Lucent, I
modified my CID to show up with lucent security's number..

Anyone can change the Caller ID to show up as any phone number they
want. On TechTv reformed hacker Kevin Mitnick called Leo Leport and
the number that showed up on Leo's phone was that of the White House,
1-202-450-1414.
