T720 Performance29 Sep 2003 03:53 GMT9
Hi, Gang:
I justed added a new line of service with Alltel and selected the T720. I'm
still in the "test" period where I can return it. Anything in particular I
should be watching for, as far as the phone's operation or potential flaws?
Alltell Pre-Paid plans29 Sep 2003 01:14 GMT3
I was thinking of going with alltell's prepaid plan (possible the
200/2000 one) and i was wondering if anyone else here was using any of
their prepaid plans, because i was curious if they offered text
messaging, voice, and caller id with it. I was also curious about the
V60X & 120e reception27 Sep 2003 19:07 GMT2
I got two new phones yesterday, the motorola v60x and the 120e.  We are
in Chicago, in a building that has always had spotty reception on our
old carrier (Verizon) and phone (Kyocera 2035a).  It seems that Alltel
is actually using Verizon here?  But the 120e seems to get great

PCS Spectrum?15 Sep 2003 02:13 GMT1

service in the 800 MHz spectrum? (Most of what I've seen is "B" band
with some "A" band in Virginia around Richmond/Virginia Beach)

Alltel "Free To Roam"?14 Sep 2003 20:57 GMT2
Does anyone know any more about the new Alltel "Free To Roam" minutes
program? The website is kind of vague--it says you can add 100 roaming
minutes to a local plan, but it doesn't say if you can add them on a
month-to-month basis...
I was shocked to see Alltel Prepay boxes here in Orlando, FL.12 Sep 2003 14:16 GMT7
I was in a Wal-Mart store in the Orlando, FL area and saw a Alltel Prepay
box when I was in the electronics area. If one activated that and used it in
Orlando one would be always roaming since Alltel is not in Orlando...that is
presuming Alltel would activate the phone.

Waptunnel?07 Sep 2003 02:37 GMT2
I've heard that Alltel blocks the use of free wap services like Waptunnel.
Is this true?  Thanks.
